So wow,
I think the new MLP show is popular. Hahahaha that's so awesome/retarded to me. When I was a little girl, I was such a HUGE fan of MLP. My mom has this photo of me in the tub, and you can't see any water, cause it's covered in ponies. Also there's ponies surrounding me on the ledge of the tub. I freakin LOOORRRRVED ponies. I still do in fact...but...err, I like the classic ponies. The new ones havent hit me yet. My friend tried to show me the new show at a con, and I think we were just too busted n' tired to pay attention. That and my dude was threatening to dive out the window if we made him watch anymore >_<; I do want to see it tho, cause I have got to know what the fuss is about...
Also, remember how I said Id post sketches I did with the Cintiq? Apparently I've grown into a huge art wussy. Im afraid to show anyone anything anymore. It's like Im 12...only when I was 12 I was way more confident 9_9. I did do some nice pencil/paper stuff for work, but Im definitely scared to show that stuff to anyone. Even the people I should be showing. -wees on floor and crawls away-
Ive been browsing DA a lot more recently, and I forgot how fun it is. Been loading up the favorites with new things, finding new artists, etc. I love it here, even if it is a bit of a cluster sometimes. ^^ Ok, time for workings. I hope to post new art soon, as I have a couple big shows coming up, which I need to make stuff for...badly. @_@ Stay tuned!

Schoolism, work, Cintiq! Woo!
Hey all,
Ugh, I cant seem to go very long without disappearing from here @_@. I always forget poor DA, shame on me.
So, a lot has happened with me in the last 5 months or so. I moved, finished Schoolism courses, and changed jobs. WOO! Im now in a spectacular position working with spectacular, amazing artists. I was away for quite awhile training in another state, which is was difficult but also fun as hell. :) I got to work alongside some of the best artists Ive met in my career to date. Plus they were all super nice guys and gals. Im very fortunate to have had this turn of events come along in my life. :worship:

Schoolism update!
Hi all,
so I've officially become a student of the amazing collective at Schoolism.com. I am currently taking the Character Design course with Steven Silver. I also have Intro to Digital Painting with Andrew Hou beginning on the 23rd or so. I wanted to write a little entry here to talk about my experience thus far ^_^.
First off, I chose the guided courses at Schoolism. They are a lot more expensive than the self-taught classes, but they are exactly the thing for me. I dont know about you, but I learn very visually. I need to _see_ what people are talking about if Im to fully absorb what they're trying to show me. Actually watching
Worst con ever, and a big change.
I've done cons for about 15 years now, give or take.
This is the first con I've ever sold at where I didn't break even on the table cost. It was so bad we tore down on Saturday night and decided not to set up on Sunday. I know that this happens to everyone who does cons at least once. I've seen it happen. Artists crying at their table, asking others what they did wrong, etc. They look for a reason why people arent giving their work attention. I tell you, it's eye opening, and it's definitely a stab in the face if you've never experienced it. I know it wasn't the con itself, as others around me seemed to be doing just fine. It was m

i haven't watched the new ponies yet, but I must say I liked the older design better. The new design looks too much like the thousand anime running nowadays.
